You are looking at a 1974 Gibson Heritage Custom acoustic, with a Natural finish on a spruce top, rosewood back & sides, an ebony fretboard with purfling, and mother-of-pearl block inlays that make it easy to find your way around the fretboard, even if your last rehearsal ended in tears and a disagreement about tempo. If you’ve been waiting for a vintage Gibson that has the tone, the soul, and just the right amount of “I’ve been places” energy, this might be your next long-term musical relationship.
We just put on a fresh new set of 12-54’s and also gave it a nicer set of bridge pins because this guitar deserves a few upgrades after 50 years of service, and so do you.

She just celebrated her 51st birthday and she has lived a real musical life. This guitar is in good vintage condition, showing plenty of honest wear including nicks, scratches, and a couple of cracks on the ebony bridge—the kind of marks that say, “I’ve played songs that mattered,” not “I fell off a moving tour bus.” The original case is still in very nice shape, purple lining intact and ready to impress literally anyone who opens it.
If you want a guitar that looks untouched and flawless, this isn’t the one. If you want a guitar that already has stories, songs, and maybe a few secrets, you just found her. Whoever brings this baby home is going to be STOKED!!
