Up for sale is a Sherwood S-5500 II, one of the most musical and collectible tube integrated amplifiers of the early 1960s. This unit has been cleaned, tested, and works extremely well — rich midrange, tight bass, and that signature Sherwood realism that rivals Fisher and Scott tube gear of the same era.

This is the rarer S-5500 II variant with the gold face, chrome trim, brushed brass chassis, end three transformer layout. Excellent overall condition for a 60+ year-old amplifier.
