Up for sale is this vintage 1953 Gibson Grande Console double neck, double eight steel guitar.

This instrument is all original with the possible exception of the switch tip and is in nice condition for its age. It does show wear and it's clear that this instrument was used lovingly over the years. There are numerous small dings, scratches, and scuffs, the worst of which we have captured in the photos. The original hardware is completely intact, including the two original bridge covers, but does show some light wear and pitting from years of use. The original legs are included and are functional, although the plating is peeling off in places and they're not the most cosmetically appealing (pictured).

This one has just been gone over by our tech who cleaned it up a bit and sprayed out the electronics. Everything works as it should and both P90's sound great, loud and powerful tone from this thing...

The original hardshell case is included but is in poor condition. The handle has been replaced but all of the latches and hinges are present and working. There are several spots where the case is coming apart and it should be noted that the case is in pretty rough shape. The instrument will be well-packed inside and out to ensure safe shipping.
