Vintage RARE 1959 Gibson 3/4 Size Melody Maker Soft Shell Electric Guitar Case Alligator Print

A very cool, hard to find Gibson Guitar Case. Super RARE, so get in on this one quick!

We believe its a 1959 Gibson 3/4 Melody Maker Case. The inside dimensions are 13 inches by 36 1/2 inches... The Melody Makers started in 1959 thru 1971. Not sure of the date of this one, but with the alligator print, its an early one!

We found this one in the basement of a since closed Guitar Shop. It was in rough shape but we just had to put it back together! Super RARE!

It has all 3 working latches, both working hinges - we reinforced one that had broken loose, see pic 9, original handle, taped to hold it together, see pic 6, and original accessory box and neck rest. The accessory box lid is missing in action. We used our glue gun and some extra cardboard to hold this one back together. It has a large crack on the top, Seem pretty stable, see pic 4 ... Tolex missing in areas but the interior is still very nice for its age. This historic case is not designed to go on the road with you. Put it under the bed and show it off to your buddies once in awhile. Keep traveling with your newer hard case. This cool vintage case needs to be preserved for future generations!

Hard to find anything on these cases on the internet. Any info from informed Case Experts would be appreciated.
