I purchased this incredible sounding, gold vapor Mylar, large diaphragm, 5 polar pattern studio mic in 1989 for my home recording studio. It has always been in a smoke free, temperature controlled environment. It appears and sounds as good as it did when I bought it. It has very few hours on it as I was the only one to ever use it and that was on just a few projects. It also had a pop filter in front of it at all times so no spit got in there either. It is an amazing Mic and sounds great on vocals, instruments and even percussion. I actually preferred it to the U87 I had and always used it on my vocals. The mic comes with the adapter and suspension cage it came with. I did remove the foam from the box as it, like most foam of that period, disintegrated. It also includes the original documentation shown in the photos.
