MJT relic’d pickguard with a Mojotone pre-wired Premium Historic Strat Wiring Harness and Fender Vintage-Style Alnico single coils.
I pulled the pickups out of a Rangoon Red Fender Special Edition ‘50s Stratocaster I used to have and they sound amazing! They have amazing clarity and touch sensitivity, the dynamics are incredible. They’re really fantastic pickups.
The knobs, switch, and cap are wired, but the pickup wires are not wired to the switch or ground.
Here are the specs from Mojotone for the wiring harness:
- CTS 250k vintage taper audio split shaft 7% tolerance potentiometers
- CRL 5-way switch
- Switchcraft mono input jack
- Luxe Paper & Oil .1uf reproduction (1952-58) capacitor
- Pre-tinned cloth covered wire
