2018 PRS John Mayer Silver Sky Launch Edition in Onyx.

This is a gorgeous guitar that was one of the first 500 made in ealry 2018 and comes in hard case with the Silver Sky John Mayer Model plaque on the outside.

The 2018 Silver Sky have hotter pickups than the SS‘s made later. I replaced the pick guard with a black version to better match the guitar. The original white pick guard is included In the case.

Overall this guitar is in excellent condition. There are three very minor imperfections in the top that can only be seen in a certain angle with the correct light. I’ve tried to photograph them as best as I can. They are very hard to see. On the back near the end strap button, there are several imperfection. None affect the playability of the guitar and are just minor cosmedic. See the photos for details and more photos available upon request.

I replaced the volume pot a few years ago when it stopped working with an OEM PRS part. Old non working part is included.

All case candy pictured comes with this guitar, including hang tag dated 3/6/18, tool kit, trem bar, sticker and paperwork. (original packing slip to first retailer dated 3/15/18 documents its provenance) Also included is a bonus of the short run Sob Rock Zine.

This guitar has been played in a smoke free home studio, never gigged. Hate to see it go, but it doesn’t get played often and I need to make room for new guitars.
