3 used genuine BOSS older battery clips (1 GRAY, early 1980s / 2 BLACK - one late from 1980s, other from 1990s) (NO pedals) - also including 2 new NON Boss battery clips, 2 extra wires, 2 pieces heat shrink tubing (AS IS / FINAL SALE- read description)

Up for grabs are THREE used genuine BOSS older / vintage battery clip - battery terminals. ONE has the GRAY oval part and is from the early 1980s. And TWO have the BLACK oval part - is one late from late 1980s and the other is from the 1990s). These are a genuine Boss parts that that are about 34 to 42 years old.

• NO pedal included - NO other pedal parts included.

NOTE: Since the GRAY Vinyl Covering on the Oval Part and the BLACK Vinyl Covering of the Oval Part of ONE the Boss Black battery clips have separated at the left & right areas on the side where the wires go on to the oval part - SEE pictures # 6, # 7, # 10, and, #11 - I'm selling AS IS / FINAL SALE / NO RETURNS.

• Or I can substitute these two battery clips with two other used / pre-owned Boss battery clips (with Black Oval part) that do not have vinyl covering separation issues on the oval parts. Message me. Sorry at the moment - I do not have any more that are gray.

I am also including two new NON Boss battery clips - the both have black oval parts (incase you need them for a different pedal project(s). And two pieces of electrical heat shrink tubing (for doing a secure connection). You can cut the heat shrink tubing to your desired length(s).

Prior of me taking off the battery clips from the pedals that they were originally from - they worked fine.

• But the GRAY Vinyl Covering on the Oval Part and the BLACK Vinyl Covering of the Oval Part of ONE the Boss Black battery clips have separated at the left & right areas on the side where the wires go on to the oval part. I'm selling AS IS / FINAL SALE / NO RETURNS.

• Therefore there is a possibility that the vinyl coverings on the OVAL parts of these two battery clips they will eventually come off more or come of completely- resulting in these two battery clips to possibly not work any more.

The Boss gray battery clip is ideal for late 1970s to early to mid 1980s Boss pedals. SEE pictures # 3, # 4, # 5, # 6, and # 7 for the condition of this battery clip.

• This battery clip / battery terminal came off of a 1983 Boss OD1 OverDrive pedal (pedal NOT included). 

One of the Boss black battery clips came off of a mid 1980s DS-1 (pedal NOT included).  SEE pictures # 8, # 9, # 10, # 11, # 12, and # 13. for the condition of this battery clip.

The other Boss black battery clip came off of a 1990s Boss DD3 (pedal NOT included).  See pictures # 14, # 15, # 16, # 17, # 18, and # 19 for the condition of this battery clip.

• Length of red area of RED wire (not counting the bare end) : about 2 and 1/4 inch
• Full Length of BLACK wire (to bare end of wire) -- about 4 and 1/2 inches
• Length of black area of BLACK wire (not counting the bare end) : about 3 and 7/8 inch

Measurements of one of the Boss BLACK battery clip:

• Full Length of RED wire (to bare end of wire) -- about 4 inches
• Length of red area of RED wire (not counting the bare end) : about 3 and 3/4 inches
• Full Length of BLACK wire (to bare end of wire) -- about 3 and 1/8 inches
• Length of black area of BLACK wire (not counting the bare end) : about 3 inches

Measurements of the the other Boss BLACK battery clip:

• Full Length of RED wire (to bare end of wire) -- about 7 and 1/8 inches
• Length of red area of RED wire (not counting the bare end) : about 6 and 7/8 inches
• Full Length of BLACK wire (to bare end of wire) -- about 4 and 3/4 inches
• Length of black area of BLACK wire (not counting the bare end) : about 4 and 1/2 inches

NOTE:

Most of the wires for the BOSS battery clips are not long enough to directly put on to (solder on to) where the wires need to be attached to on the pedal(s) that your putting it / them on. Therefore - just cut off the oval part end or your battery clip and leave the original wire on. For the best and strongest repair - do a SOLDER connection. Use the electrical heat shrink tubing as a reinforcement.

• You can have a guitar tech or a friend do the repair - or you can do it yourself. If necessary - you can see people doing guitar repairs and pedals repair on You Tube.

The two new NON Boss battery clip each have black oval ends and are the same design (in terms of the way that the wires are positioned on the oval part) as the Boss battery clip.

They are both fine / clean. The wires are just a little wavy / lightly curved. The positive / negative metal terminals are fine.

They are two different lengths:

Length of the red and black WIRES of the extra NON Boss battery clips :

• For one of the battery clips - they are 6 inches long
• For the other battery clip - they are 4 and 5/8 inches long

NOTE: Each EXTRA battery clip is $1.50. So if you only want to purchase the gray Boss battery clip - make an offer with a message stating / reflecting what you want to get. You also have the option to purchase more of the NON Boss black oval end battery clips. Just message me to let me know what you want to get and then we can go from there.

The EXTRA WIRES (one red & one black) are fine - they just have minor wavy-ness.

• The are both 5 and 3/4 inches long

The two piece of Electrical Heat Shrink Tubing are fine / clean

• One piece is 3 inches long.
• And the other piece is 2 and 3/4 inches long.
• You can cut them to our desired length.

I took many pictures of the three Boss battery clips. And there a few pictures of the extra NON Boss battery clips, of the extra wires, and of the two pieces of electrical heat shrink tubing.
