If you are looking for an outstanding Stratocaster then a Masterbuilt guitar built by a Senior Masterbuilder, such as Dennis Galuszka, is the perfect choice. The Masterbuilder's passion and supremely creative skills are easy to see in this phenomenal Relic finish.

This guitar has pickups designed by Senior Masterbuilder John Cruz and handwound by the legendary Abby Ybarra (Abby pickups in Neck and Middle positions, not Bridge as per the Shop Floor Traveller Spec Sheet). Abby Ybarra has hand wound pickups for many of the greatest guitar legends. Having retired from the Fender Custom Shop around 2012, after 50 years service, this guitar would have been amongst the last few guitars to benefit from these pickups. They are now extremely sought-after and very rare.

The photos show the guitar from most angles. The Shop Floor Traveller Document details the build specification. The guitar is unmodified and remains as per the specification. The original hard shell Limited Edition Custom Shop case is included, with all the case candy, original strap and tremolo arm. Although not shown in the photos the guitar comes with the original off-white rear cavity cover.

Placing this Masterbuilt guitar next to a regular Custom Shop Team Built Relic Strat in the same colour is a good way to compare the differences. There is quite a difference! This one looks far more realistic with seriously good attention to detail on every single part of the guitar. The fret board and headstock wear massively add to the realism. In addition, the careful selection of premium tone woods, reserved for Masterbuilt guitars further enhances the guitar giving it that quintessential Stratocaster sound and vintage feel.

The condition of this Strat is excellent. The frets are in very good condition, the fret ends are nice and smooth and perfectly profiled, the set-up is spot on (obviously that's a personal choice). It features a one-piece ash body which has been especially selected for weight. The guitar weighs 7lbs 7oz's, which perfect for a Stratocaster.

The natural resonance you get from it is acoustically amazing, it is very much alive. It's noticeable how much louder it is compared to other Stratocaster i have to hand including Custom Shop guitars. This is a great specification guitar from the very finest source, they don’t really get any better than this.
