14" VINTAGE ZILDJIAN NEW BEAT HI HAT CYMBALS, HOLLOW LOGO, DEMO VIDEO!

For your consideration, a pair of VINTAGE 1970s 14" ZILDJIAN HOLLOW LOGO NEW BEAT HI HAT CYMBALS in GOOD CONDITION!

Obviously, a very "seasoned" pair of cymbals, these cymbals are the quintessential "New Beat" philosophy and sound; a medium weight top cymbal carefully matched to a heavy weight bottom cymbal for an intensified "chip" sound, extremely fast response, powerful projection and pinpoint definition.

Top = 795 grams

Bottom = 1275 grams 

Condition:  The bottom hi hat cymbal is in great condition, especially in light of the fact that it is around 50 years old, Yet it retains the hollow "Zildjian" logo along with the earlier model designation of "BOTTOM HI HAT NEW BEAT".  The top hi hat cymbal has a medium to heavy patina which includes tarnish and whatnot; it might be cleaned up but I am leaving that up to you.

Regardless, these hi hats generate that trademark "New Beat" sound from the 1970s which is unmatched!

Yes, you could go out and purchase a brand new, never been struck pair of New Beat Hi Hats from the big box chain stores for $479.95 plus taxes, but they wouldn't have that great vintage sound which this pair possesses!
