About the PS-400
I think of the PS-400 as a tiny Electone Organ.
The "candy bar" design is well considered.
The PS-400 had a list price in the $400 range in 1982...it's not a "toy" and my guess is it was intended for vocal accompaniment (i.e. the transpose dial) and worship music.
Nice and bright to cut though a mix...as one expects from a Yamaha.
The hard case is from before the era of cost cutting..
The expression pedal is a great musical addition...Note there isno facility for a sustain pedal.
