Up for sale, a 1987 Fender Stratocaster ‘57 vintage reissue model ST57-55 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. This “Made in Japan” Stratocaster was crafted at the Fujigen factory for the Japanese domestic market during the golden age of Fender Japan production, long ago discontinued and uncommon outside of its country of origin.
The trio of single coil pickups feature Alnico magnet construction, and these pickups deliver classic Strat tonalities: the neck is round and bell-like, and the bridge pickup provides sparkling cut, with thinned-out cut in the "in-between" positions on the five-way switch. This Stratocaster ST57-55 weighs 8lbs 2oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
