E-MU Systems Shortboard 2010s (+ manual)

Here we have a RARE E-Mu Shortboard synthesizer. Its a "rompler", so is non-programmable. It was released in 2010, but due to poor marketing (?), failed to be noticed by all and sundry. This fantastic model was clearly aimed for mobile musicians/players, who needed the best quality sounds in a hurry eg for rehearsals/auditions and even small gigs/jam sessions. Its portability is obvious; pop the "'board" in a wee gig bag, jump on the tube/train/bus..and off you go. It will even be powered by batteries, as well as wall wart or USB....

SPECS:- 128 voice polyphonic~192 "essential" stereo presets (which can be instantly tweaked via resonant filter+envelope + FX controls) + GM sounds (hundreds...)~ 49 semi-weighted full size keys with velocity & pressure ~ pitch & mod wheels ~ sustain (with auto-polarity sensor) & volume pedal sockets ~ 5-volt "wall wart", which is global-voltage-auto-select + much more...

SOUNDS LIKE:- E-Mu sample library is (still) legendary as one of the best in the world. The synth defaults to the "Keys" 32 slots; which is permanently printed on the top panel. The quality is stunning...and in stereo. Pianos/Organs/Oberheims/Moogs/Strings/Choirs/Brass..and even a pretty convincing Wurlitzer EP200A. There is a Drum section. The remaining five 32-banks have to be selected, and you can also whizz through the 192 GM samples, which cover most sounds......

This particular Shortboard was sourced from N. Ireland. Domestic studio use only. It is fully functional. Everything works 100%. Condition is nearly "as new".......Complete with original owner's manual.
