2002 USA-made PRS CE22 Maple Top with a beautiful emerald finish has arrived.

Like the Custom, it features a maple top/mahogany back body configuration. However, its bolt-on maple neck joint delivers fast response and clear projection, making it a model with enduring popularity.

While current CE models feature a flatter, less arched top compared to CORE lineup models like the Custom, early production models made until around 2008 have a shape closer to the Custom, balancing this with a premium look.

Furthermore, this is a 22-fret model. Compared to 24-fret models, the neck pickup is positioned closer to the headstock, resulting in a warmer, mellower sound. Many players deliberately choose the 22-fret model for this reason.

The neck shape employs a “Wide Fat” profile, offering a grip feel similar to the current “Pattern” neck.

Approximately 43mm wide with a slightly thicker, rounded grip, it provides stability during chord work and generates rich sustain during powerful picking.

This pickup features the Dragon II, commonly found on 22-fret models of that era.

Compared to the HFS/Vintage Bass, it offers slightly lower gain, delivering a quintessential PRS sound—a modern update to the PAF lineage.

It's a well-balanced model capable of everything from sparkling clean tones to thick, meaty distortion sounds.

Given its nearly 20-year age, it shows signs of wear typical of PRS instruments, including the characteristic whitening of the finish, along with scratches and dents in various areas.

Hardware components also show some tarnish, but nothing is seized, and functionality is completely unaffected.

The frets have approximately 1.0mm of life remaining. Some areas show slight string wear, but this does not impact playability.

The truss rod functions normally within its standard adjustment range.

The strap pins appear to have been replaced with Jim Dunlop locking types.

Included accessories: Original hard case, tremolo arm.

※Uneven colouring of the fingerboard etc. may be observed, but this cannot be avoided as it is a natural material. Please understand.
※Please note the color on your display might be slightly different from the actual color.
