You’re looking at a 2024 Fender Stratocaster 1954 Custom Shop 70th Anniversary Limited Edition Journeyman in a Daphne Blue finish so smooth, it looks like it was airbrushed by the ocean itself after a two-margarita lunch. This is Fender’s love letter to the Strat that started it all — the 1954 original — only this one doesn’t come with the smell of your grandpa’s basement or a sticky two-prong cord.
This 70th Anniversary beauty is loaded with hand-wound Fat ’50s pickups that sound like pure California sunshine bottled and fed through a tweed amp. Strum a G chord and you’ll hear angels harmonizing… in 1950s barber-shop pitch. The neck feels like it was shaped by Leo Fender himself, probably while humming "Rock Around the Clock" and sipping a cold Coke.
The Journeyman relic finish gives it just enough wear to say, “Yeah, I’ve seen some stages,” without looking like it’s been through a divorce tour. She’s a tone machine, a looker, and light enough at 7.3 lbs. that your shoulder won’t file a grievance halfway through your set.
… and did I forget to mention the FLAMED maple neck? Yeah, just stop arguing with yourself now and get your credit card ready.
100% original, mint condition, and ready to remind everyone in the room that they’re holding a reissue — you’re holding history with better intonation.
