David Garibaldi has retired from Tower of Power! David's innovative grooves propelled the band and helped define their unique funky sound. After an amazing 55 year run, he's passing on his Tower of Power sticks.
His ground breaking work with Tower of Power and his long list of instructional books and videos, have established him as one of the most influential drummers of our time.
David has saved almost every piece of drum gear he's owned since joining Tower of Power in 1970. He's amassed a massive collection of drums, cymbals, accessories and hardware. He sent us hundreds of items from the extensive collection and we're extremely exited to share them with his fans all over the world.
From David Garibaldi's personal cymbal collection. Sabian 15" HHX X-Treme Crash in brilliant finish. Like new! Sabian's HHX X-Treme and X-Plosion crashes are pivotal part of David's Tower of Power drum sound since he started using them in 2001. These punchy, fast and complex cymbals were the perfect crashes for his tight and funky Tower of Power sound.
This cymbal is in near new condition and hand signed by David Garibaldi. Just some of David's fingerprints.
