The Superego is the next step up in the Freeze line of pedals from EHX. Simply put, it has all the features of a Freeze and more.
Remote mod allows for better control options such as a switch with a better feel, momentary switch vs latching, control from a switching unit like a Gigrig G2 or G3, Boss ES-8 or ES-5, etc.
The glissando feature makes this the only pedal available to my knowledge that will auto-slide from note to note (or chord to chord) no matter how far apart pitch-wise. You can hear this effect prominently throughout El Ten Eleven's song "Entropy".
The Superego is famously used by Troy Van Leeuwen (Queens of the Stone Age, A Perfect Circle, Failure), Johnny Marr (Modest Mouse), The Smiths, The Pretenders), Andy Summers (The Police), Kristian Dunn (El Ten Eleven), and many more.
