Teisco May Queen - 60's - 70's vintage - NOT A REISSUE
I bought this May Queen used in 2004 and it's been sitting in the box in my studio since it was delivered. I just never played it.
The story is that I had one as a kid, and when I moved to California my parents gave it to one of my cousins who then proceeded to destroy it.
Make me an offer I can't refuse.
SO....in an effort to recapture my youth I bought another one once I was making some money.
I'm clearing out my studio and decided it's time to sell it to someone who REALLY wants one and will give it some player love.
It's in pretty good shape. Some dings, some scratches, but it plays great.
THERE IS NO CASE. IT WILL BE SHIPPED IN NESTED BOXES FOR SAFETY. (it's the same way it was shipped to me)
People either LOVE or HATE this guitar.
I've shot the hell out of it so I'm hoping the pix cover everything, and if they do not, DM me and I'll shoot a specific one for you.
I believe it's a vintage 60's or 70's model because of the way that the serial number is printed on the neck plate.
This is identical to the one that I had in the early 70's as a kid. The pickups and tremolo are that vintage.
The name plate on the headstock wasn't there when I bought it.
I know there are a ton of recent reissues from China but this is the real deal.
ALSO.....cats are NOT included.
Make me an offer I can't refuse.
