This might be the best guitar ever created by the Gibson Custom Shop.
The 2010 Aged Clapton "Beano" run is among the best run of guitars ever produced by Gibson in any era. This incredible Les Paul originally belonged to Rockstar and Legend, Steve Miller (Steve Miller Band) and therefore I often like to refer to it as "Les Paul's Godson's Les Paul". If you didn't already know, Steve Miller is Les Paul's actual Godson!
This specific Les Paul, serial number CLAPTON 010, is the very best of the best, cherry picked by Steve Miller from the Gibson Custom Shop. This once in a lifetime Les Paul comes with all collateral including the "Beano" poster (framed), the strap (new), original COA, sealed LP of John Mayall with Eric Clapton (in box), as well as original shipping box labeled and stickered with matching serial number. The case tag from the Steve Miller group notes: "Beano PAF 5* Neck Only". The neck pickup could very well be a genuine PAF, I have never checked. The headstock has a sticker which says "F1" on the side of it.
