Vintage Kay solid wood Guitar, American made in the 1940s. This great guitar has a remarkable sound. Neither this guitar or the Dulcimer are the kind of interments that you should put in the hands of a novice who does not love antiques.
Dulcimer, made in 1971 in East Tennessee by an old master Dulcimer builder. He had made them the same way his whole life. Solid walnut with a maple fretboard. The string caddy is an old metal ruler and it has very large wooden tuners. Our luthier took it as a challenge to improve the sound and ease of tuning. This antique has been completely rebuilt and has modern tuners as well. (Old large wooden tuners left for effect). New bone nut and bridge. Rich very deep sound. Tunes to DADD but will take other tunings. The wood is smooth and finished with Tong oil. Very easy to play. Sits in your lap or table. Free shipping to lower 48 states. Please see photos and ask questions.
