For sale is my 1970s Fender Mustang Bass in good vintage condition and perfect working order.

I bought this from Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar a few years back – one of their signature custom builds – and it has lived in its case ever since, taken out only for occasional bedroom playing. No gigs, no travel, no smoke, no humidity swings.

This is a true Fender/Gibson hybrid: genuine '70s Mustang body and neck, professionally routed for a Lollar Thunderbird pickup, and refinished in a stunning, brand-new nitro Silverburst by Riggio Custom Guitars. The relic work is excellent – flawless checking, subtle dings, and a perfect burst that blends seamlessly with the naturally aged neck.

Featherweight at 7lbs 13oz with a solid ash body, it delivers rich, articulate tone with growl and thump in spades. The 30" short scale is fast and effortless. Lollar T-Bird pickup + fresh 45-105 flatwounds give you smooth low-end vintage warmth or aggressive bite with a twist of the tone knob. Just set up with low, comfortable action and perfect intonation.

Neck: Full, round C profile – .883" at 1st fret, 1.020" at 12th. Original frets leveled once, now zero wear. Rosewood board is clean, nut is 1 5/8", original tuners work perfectly. Headstock logo and ambered finish untouched.

Electronics: Lollar Thunderbird wired to new CTS pots and Switchcraft switch – cavity routed pre-finish for a factory-clean look. Original black pickguard, chrome bridge, control plate, and knobs all intact (plus a modern thumb rest).

The Silverburst nitro relic is brand new and pro-level – horizontal checking, tasteful edge wear, and finish aging that matches the light, honest play wear on the neck (just a few small nicks, nothing felt or structural).
