The name Conde is as renowned as Martin guitars are in the states. Felipe is famous for building guitars for the Flamenco elite such as Paco de Lucia, Al Di Meola, etc.

This guitar was difficult to get through customs to the United States. It cost $8500 to get here with taxes and tariffs, and comes with $1000 Vuisenut Premium case included.

The case is moisture sealed, and can go above or below in an airplane. It is made out of a plastic, which is lightweight and durable. It feels like carrying a gig bag, but has all the protection of a travel case.

Some of its dimensions slightly differ from a traditional Conde Spanish guitar measurements, – which is justified by Babak’s personal demands on the stage and in the recording studio where he normally tends to spend long hours, sometimes alternating between the flamenco guitar and other instruments.

This guitar has a side sound port – so that a musician has better control over his sound, and is equipped with an excellent Barbera flamenco pickup which was chosen for its natural and clear sound personally by Babak Amini, – after having tried all and every top-end pick up on the market.
