Very difficult to find one listed in good shape. Very impressive sound with Shadow Electronics pickup (think acoustic guitar + electric guitar).
2008 Korean Epiphone Les Paul Ultra II with Alnico Classic and Classic Plus humbuckers as well as a Shadow Nano-Mag pickup mounted to the bottom of the fretboard. Plain and simple, this was the best and most expensive Les Paul Epiphone ever built, and did so in their premium Korean factory that has since been abandoned for cheaper manufacturing in China.
The Les Paul Ultra is the only Epiphone Les Paul ever made with a chambered body. Features a carved top and belly cut for ultimate ergonomics and light weight. Slim Taper neck profile with thinner 42mm nut width slimmer than the usual 43mm. Premium Grover tuners. Get comfy with body-contoured mahogany back that has weight relief cavities and is made from choice woods. Alnico Classic and Classic Plus humbuckers for searing tone, gold hardware, quilted maple top for suave looks, and Grovers for sure tuning. Angled headstock and slightly narrower nut. The set hard maple neck has a satin finish and rosewood fretboard with trapezoid inlays. The LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece provide more sustain and make string changing easier.
