Up for sale is this vintage 1983 Fender Precision Bass Elite I bass guitar.

This instrument is all original, with the exception of the strap buttons, and is in nice condition for its age. It does show some wear, including one ding in the side (pictured), some pitting to the original hardware, and some dings, scuffs, and scratches. There is one small ding on the back of the neck at the 6th fret that can be lightly felt while playing. The worst of this, we have tried to capture in the photos so please be sure to check them out.

This one has just been gone over by our tech who sprayed out the electronics, tested everything, polished the frets, and gave it a good clean up. It plays great with comfortable, low action all the way up the neck. The original frets show wear and it's clear that the bass was played over the years, but lovingly so. With that being said, there is some light buzz here and there if you're heavy-handed but there's plenty of room to adjust the set up for your exact preferences. He noted that the strings were starting to show their age but were still good enough to roll with at this time so we'll leave the restring to the new owner so that they can toss on their favorites.

The original hardshell plastic molded Fender USA case is included and is in good condition. As is typical with these, the lid doesn't stay propped open and one of the back latches wants to come loose occasionally but, hey, it's intact and present. The bass will be well-packed inside and out to ensure safe shipping.
