Here’s a 1983 Aria Pro II RSB Deluxe II bass in a blue burst finish. It’s made in Japan (Matsumoku factory) and is in good overall shape. It plays nicely and has been setup at Uptown Music in Keizer, OR. It was setup with some basic nickel roundwounds in 100-40 gauge
**UPDATE on the strings. I changed them to a slightly used set of what I believe are Rotosounds that I’ve had in my parts tub for a while (red silk, so I believe they are the steels, not nickel). They look and feel pretty new but are probably a lighter gauge, maybe 95 on the E. The original strings I recently realized were lower output and these Rotos sound so much louder and better! I will include the original strings if you want to compare for yourself. As a result of the string change you may need to do some additional adjustments on the neck relief and intonation.
It’s all original except two things: the stacked volume knob was lost so a generic one was installed. The output jack was also replaced with a Switchcraft.
This bass has plenty of wear including scratches, dents, scrapes, dings, etc. The frets also show wear. This is definitely a player‘s bass rather than a collector‘s item! These RSB basses used pickups similar to the more expensive Aria SB basses so it can get tones to similar to Cliff Burton and John Taylor.
Shipping will likely be UPS with insurance included. Reverb estimates the cost to be from $63-$106, depending on your location. I will ship in a basic pleather gig bag.
