This is a brand new wa-251. It's the warm audio take on the 251 style mic. It definitely captures the vintage character, although it does sound like a more mix ready version of the original ELA 251 microphone. This version has a slight saturation and compression to the mids for vocals (to my ears) and less of the muddy low end you might expect from a tube microphone.
I had originally bought 2 a few months ago hoping to use it for stereo applications, but only ever ended up using one of them for vocals for certain singers and acoustic guitars.
This one is unopened and brand new. You can snag this one at a slight discount and save some cash on a vintage style tube microphone.
