Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul R8 in Heritage Darkburst finish made in 2009 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body with a bound plain maple top, mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a Gibson Burstbucker 1 in the neck position and a Gibson Burstbucker 2 in the bridge position. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 2 tone pots and a 3-Way toggle switch with Bumblebee capacitors. The 24.75" scale length neck has acrylic trapezoid inlays and tortoise side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a slim taper profile. The hardware is comprised of nickel Grover Rotomatic tuning machines with kidney heads, a nylon nut, a Gibson ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and gold top hat knobs with a single ply cream pickguard.

This guitar is in overall very good condition. The tuning machines were changed out at some point in its life, leaving the original screw holes behind. The volume pots were also changed out at some point and the originals are included. The back of the neck has some light dents and marks. There are a few spots of cloudy finish on the back of the body along with some belt rash and light surface marks. The top and sides have some light surface marks. (See pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case, COA & Original Case Candy.
