The "Traditional "T" Series" is a lineup released as a new idea from Collings Guitars, one of the world's most highly acclaimed brands. Going back to Bill's roots, this model adds further tonal variation to the Collings sound, resulting in a guitar with the powerful fundamental response that is characteristic of vintage guitars from the 1930s. This instrument is an O (single O) style "O1T." It is a used item manufactured in 2018, the first year of release. The top is made of beautiful, lustrous Sitka spruce, and the sides and back are made of Honduras mahogany. It features a Honduras mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, diamond fingerboard inlays, long saddles, Waverly tuning machines, diamond fingerboard inlays, and tortoiseshell celluloid pickguard and binding. The assembly is meticulously crafted using animal glue and an ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish, resulting in a solid fundamental and response. It also boasts a capacity that is surprising for its size. The tone is clear and the high notes are thick and full of volume. With a crisp, lively mahogany sound, it is powerful with a pick stroke and delicate with a pluck, and the range of inflection is wide, fully demonstrating its high potential. The neck shape, with rounded fingerboard corners, unique to the Traditional Series, gives it the stability of a beloved instrument that has been played for many years, and you'll feel a sense of comfort the moment you pick it up. There is one scratch the size of a grain of rice on the top surface of the body, below the bridge edge on the 1st string side, and several thin, barely noticeable dents, and a scratch on the corner of the headstock tip. In addition, there is some paint lifting and peeling on the sides of the fingerboard, mainly around the edges of the frets, but this does not affect playability. Other than that, there are only a few very light scratches on the pickguard and back of the body, and the guitar is in relatively good condition. The neck is in excellent condition, and you'll be able to experience the agile maneuverability and easy handling of its compact size. This is a new traditional guitar with a nostalgic beauty that you'll want to keep with you all the time. We hope you'll experience it for yourself.
