Leo Jaymz Partscaster 2020-2025 - Orange

This is a Leo Jaymz ST style kit I put together and finished. I replaced most of the hardware with better quality parts; not high quality like Hipshot or Gotoh but much better than what came with it.

The finish is Montana alkyd paint with pre-catalyzed lacquer. I was going for a color schemed that matches a particular burger chain, a royal burger chain I should say.

PLEASE CHECK PICTURES FOR FINISH IT IS NOT PERFECT! This was my 3rd attempt at finishing a guitar and I didn't do a great job with the grain fill. I had to shape the headstock as well so it's also not perfect BUT...

It sounds and plays great! I've done a full setup: leveled frets, beveled/rounded fret edges, crowned/polished frets, adjusted bridge saddles, adjusted nut, adjusted neck. Action is as low as I could get without any buzz.

The middle pickup tone knob also controls the tone of the bridge pickup because it's a sound I like. I've also added push/pull pots to the tone knobs so you can get a 7 sound strat (push/pull on neck tone knob) and in/out of phase (out of phase by default, pull on bridge/middle tone knob to go in phase). Lots of cool sonic options. Here are more details on replacement parts:

Bridge: Wilkinson M Series 52.5 mm tremolo bridge with arm (black)

Tuners: Wilkinson EZ LOK tuners (black)

Strings: Ernie Ball extra light (8-38)

Pickups: FLEOR alnico 5 flat pole (cream)

Nut: Graph Tech TUSQ XL

Pickguard looks off in photo only because it still has the cellophane on.
