You are looking at the Woods FX Sola Bender MKI fuzz pedal. Based on the Gary Hurst design from 1965. This pedal takes you back to the early days of British rock as well as some of the best modern day music.
These pedals are true to the originals, constructed with NOS germanium transistors as well as modern capacitors and resistors for greater reliability, quality jacks and switches. Each transistor is measured for ideal gains and leakages as well as proper circuit voltages.
Individual circuits are bread boarded, played and tuned for the classic tones of the originals.
This Tone Bender MKI circuit is based on the standard Tone Bender fuzz used by such artists as Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Mick Ronson and The Beatles. It has the classic Tone Bender sounds all the way up the Attack control.
