Old world violin here. Has seen plenty of use, which means that the sound is nice and broken in. Just replaced the strings with D'Addario Preludes. Played beautifully and sounds very sweet but rich.
good quality ProTek case and bow included. Has shoulder rest and other accessories. The chin rest has a piece out of it, but it's not uncomfortable to hold because of it.
