The EV 635 was the first edition of one of the most popular EV microphones of all time, the 635A. In the early fifties, the 635 was one of the first microphones to use the new quick connect Cannon XLR adapter which by 1965 became the world standard for microphone connection. The 635A soon eclipsed the 635 so you don't see many of the original much less find one still working after 70 years. This one is in great physical condition with just a few minor imperfections, uses a regular 3 pin XLR cable, works and sounds good.
