Vintage RARE 1950 Branded Gieb Gibson Epiphone Guild Brown Soft Shell Guitar Case

A very cool, hard to find Geib Guitar Case.

We are not sure of the year but I had one in the mid 50's like it. It is probably for Arch top Guitars...It measures 15 inches by 40 1/2 inches. The depth is 5 1/2 inches...All inside dimensions. We are not positive about what model Guitar this case is for. Geib made cases for Gibson, Epiphone, Gretch, Guild and many others back in the day...

It has all 3 working latches, all three working hinges, (we reinforced the hinge areas-see pic 12), original handle and original accessory box with the Geib metal logo plate still on it...See pic 10.

Its in very good shape but excellent for its age. As mentioned, the hinge areas of the case had cracked, we reinforced them with some cardboard and our glue gun...one area that looks like the previous owner scrubbed too hard or used something they shouldn't have. See pic 7. Otherwise, the case still works great! By all means, you should be careful with this historic case.
