Sitting inside the original G&G case, this 1963-1964 Fender Precision Bass is just another example of how good these L series instruments are. Coming out of the Fender factory as it is. No changed parts.
Still has the original and coveted Brazilian rosewood fretboard which was discontinued pretty soon after the change of ownership.
The bass is completely original. Except for the removal of cheap black paint that has been removed showing the original sunburst finish.
Pickups and pots dated correctly and still has the original bridge and pickup covers.
The tone is absolutely astonishing and it’s one of the best looking instrument I have seen.
Amazing instrument to add to your collection and as you know they keep going up so it’s a great investment as well. Photos included showing the original owner.
