Selling my 1998 Ace Frehley Gibson Les Paul Custom. This guitar is in great shape and plays beautifully! It has one of the most gorgeous flame tops I've ever seen! The previous owner had some work done by SF Guitarworks in 2019 which included the installation of 51100 stainless steel frets, replaced the nut, installed a Tone Pro Bridge, performed a headstock repair and had it PLEK'd (receipt in photos). The action is very low without any fret buzz. The frets are in as new condition without any wear or depressions. (Note: the original bridge and tailpiece are included.)

At some point, the pickup selector switch was replaced with a 6 speed switch with a push/pull tone pot for various tone options. The original 3-position switch and tone pot are included.

The headstock break was not all the way through and did not affect the appearance of front headstock vinear. The break was glued without any repainting. I've included blacklight photos to clearly show the repair. When playing this guitar, you cannot feel or know that it has had a headstock repair.

If it was't for the headstock repair, I would have described this instrument as in Excellent condition. Weighing in at 10 lbs. 2 ounces, she's a hefty girl, but she plays and sounds great just like the spaceman himself. A true gem of an instrument that anyone would be proud to have part of their collection.
