This is an Epiphone Les Paul Slash (see photo of back of headstock) model that has been hot rodded with Seymour Duncan Phat Cat P-90s that are sized for humbucker mount and that are made to satisfy rockers or any players wanting the p-90 crunch and lots of tone variety with plenty of LOUD when needed. The original Epiphone harness was replaced with an Obsidian solderless harness that offers a choice for either or both pickups to be heard through either '50s or '60s LP wiring. A hole in the control back plate allows changing the wiring via small switches on the harness. A small screwdriver or other small tool can be inserted in the hole and the switches changed as desired. This keeps players from having to remove the back plate for access. Kaish gold locking tuners are another significant upgrade as are the elliptical gold strap pins. There is one small blemish on the body front above and to the left of the bridge pickup. Too small to be seen on the famous LP vintage gold top finish. In its present form this guitar has been played fewer than two hours. Frets are like new, truss rod works as do all the electronics. Great guitar is maybe not for the faint of heart. It has D'Addario 10-46 flat wound strings. Rockers likely will want to go to 9s.
