GVT ®️ 4-ply nitrate celluloid with all layers made of genuine celluloid nitrate, featuring a tortoiseshell top layer.
This is an authentic vintage full nitrate celluloid material, fitting pre-CBS Stratocaster® models. The screw hole pattern corresponds to 1963 dec –to 1970 non counter pickups screws holes, fit in 63 models pre CBS to 1970 and it will fit reissue models with this pattern as well as, of course, original pre-CBS instruments.
The bevel is a wide vintage 30-degree cut, showcasing the highly sought-after hand-routed edges that reflect the craftsmanship of the old days.
Being made entirely of nitrate, it retains the acoustic properties of this prized material.
