Spector NS-X White #014 1984 Brooklyn Era

Direct from PJ Rubal's Vintage Spector Collection!

Offered here is Brooklyn Era NS-X #014.

This bass is one of only 107 NS-X basses produced during Spector's highly sought-after Brooklyn Era...and fewer than 107 were actually completed. Following the company's sale to Kramer, the unsold NS-X bodies and necks were either disassembled or never assembled, and stored away. A few years later, I acquired all of these bodies and necks and still retain many of them in my collection.

NS-X #014 specifications and details:

The date of completion at the Brooklyn NY workshop was Feb 3, 1984. 

White gloss body. There are dents, dings, and discoloration on the sides; please refer to my photos for the exact condition.

Full P size/style neck shape. Natural neck, not matte black like most NS-X necks.

1.50" narrow nut width. 

EMG HB active pickups. These are P style, split coils.

Passive tone pot. 

A previous owner has rewired the bass. It currently has a volume and tone pot for the bridge pickup. The neck pickup and its volume pot are not connected. The pots exhibit scratchiness due to age.

The final photo shows the NS-X in an early 1980s brochure with some information.

There is no case or gig bag included with this bass. I will securely wrap it with ample bubble wrap and place it in an appropriate shipping box. Sold as-is, no returns, shipping within the continental US only.
