Very rare Gretsch Traveling Wilburys TW100T model. The Traveling Wilburys series of guitars was produced as a cooperation between the newly reformed Gretsch company under Fred Gretsch Jr. and George Harrison, who assigned Gretsch with the guitar manufacturing to promote his new supergroup Traveling Wilburys with Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne and Roy Orbison. Gretsch had the guitars produced at Cort in Korea. The guitars come in various specifications, including just one or two pickups, singlecoils or humbuckers etc. The graphical design is different from model to model. All in all the guitars have nothing to do with Gretsch designs but are rather akin to (also made by Cort) Danelectro models, sharing a lot of features. They were produced between 1987 and 1990.
