1994 Gibson Les Paul Special Double Cutaway – TV Yellow, 3.2kg

For sale is an all-original 1994 Gibson Les Paul Special Double Cutaway, finished in a finely applied TV Yellow that allows the wood grain to show through prominently, giving the guitar a distinctive and tasteful aesthetic.

Constructed from a single-piece solid mahogany body, a ’60s slim-profile bound neck, and a pair of P-90 pickups, this is a fantastic, clean example that captures everything great about mid-’90s Gibson “good-wood era” craftsmanship. Built during Gibson’s centennial year, it delivers the unmistakable blend of raw tone, simplicity, and killer looks that defines the Les Paul Special.

Condition-wise, this is a well-preserved example with all original parts and no breaks, repairs, or structural concerns. It’s fully functional, and the finish has aged beautifully, featuring subtle lacquer checking that enhances its visual character. While some surface marks are present, the instrument clearly shows signs of careful use. There is a chip on the front face of the body to the right of the treble knob (pictured), as well as a small chip on the front-facing left horn (also pictured), neither of which detract from its overall clean appearance. The neck is smooth and notably clean, the frets retain plenty of life, and all electronics operate flawlessly. As mentioned, all components are original and intact, aside from a missing piece of the plastic around the upper screw from the truss rod cover.

This one weighs 3.2kg.

Included is the originally supplied brown Gibson TKL hardcase.
