This is an exceptional piece of 80s hard rock and heavy metal history—a genuine 1988 Kramer Baretta II with the ultra-rare “Monsters of Rock” promotional graphic.

This is #75 of the estimated 50-100 guitars created to promote the legendary 1988 Monsters of Rock Tour (headlined by Van Halen, with Scorpions, Dokken, and Metallica). Approximately 50 were used as radio station give-aways, and the remaining estimated 50 bodies were sold off when Kramer went out of business.

• Year/Serial: 1988 American Series, Serial #F5428.
• Numbered Body: It's a big faded, but you can see the circled 75 in the photo next to the signature.
• The Graphic: Features the iconic, original Chris "Knapp" Knabenbauer airbrushed graphic from the tour promotional run.
• Ultra-Rare Neck: Equipped with the scarce, highly desirable Bound Rosewood neck with traditional dot inlays. This is a feature rarely seen on the F-series Barettas.
• Factory Unique Specs (Employee Build):
• • The Seymour Duncan JB bridge pickup is body-mounted, intentionally omitting the traditional black plastic pickup ring for a cleaner, streamlined look.
  • The guitar was built without a rear tremolo cover or the corresponding mounting holes, further confirming its unique, factory-hotrodded status.
• Meticulous Restoration: The guitar has been lovingly and professionally restored. Original dings and scratches were meticulously filled with matching black airbrushing, and the entire body was shot with a new layer of 2K poly clear and buffed to a deep, high-gloss shine. This process preserved the integrity of the original graphic while giving the finish a killer "fresh from the factory" look. Only 2 or 3 tiny imperfections in the original paint were sealed under the new clear, as they were too risky to repair.
