For sale is a Tama Sam Ash 81st Anniversary Edition snare drum. These were a limited edition snare from about 20 years ago. I don‘t know how many of them they made, but this is #12.
This drum has a 100% walnut Mono-Ply / MonoPly shell, made of a single, long, 3mm thick ply of wood, which was bent around itself to create a 9mm shell.
14” diameter, 5.5” deep. 10 lugs. Mighty Hoops top and bottom. Tama Starclassic snare wires. Remo coated Anbassador head top. Tama Evans Hazy 300 head bottom.
Excellent condition, according to Reverb’s guidelines (When an item has been used, but only has minor cosmetic defects, this can be considered Excellent . Minor surface level scratches, such as pick marks from regular use, would qualify).
