This vintage Epiphone FT-79 Texan from 1968 is up for your consideration is an amazing guitar. Few guitars hit the exact sound that makes your hair stand on end the first time you strum a chord on it. This Texan is one such quitar, boasting a rich, warm, sweet sound that rivals old Gibsons, because it essentially is, and draws attention from all over, its amazing tone perfect for a variety of styles, from finger style to picking to strumming and everything in between, and the comfortably thin neck with the narrow nut width is perfect for anyone to easily traverse the fretboard.
Features:
- Made in USA
- New tuners
- Neck set done so ready for another half a century or so!
- All original finish is there with top overspray when the bridge and neck set was done.
- Changed bridge (original and parts included)
- 20 frets
- 4lbs 7oz
The guitar top ONLY was oversprayed in the past, probably when the fixed bridge and neck set was done. The old lacquer all glows nice but the top is a bit more faint due to the light overspray. Tuners likely changed as well. Other than that and some tiny nicks and scratches, it's still in excellent vintage condition and comes in a nice TLK tweed hardshell case, so get this while it's here!
