I am selling this Carvin LB-70 fretless since I currently own 2 other fretless basses and this one has not seen the light of day in almost 2 years now. I am the 3rd owner of this bass - the original owner had the frets removed by a professional luthier. The weight is extremely light thanks to the small body, lack of frets, and use of poplar as the body wood. The active preamp/pickups are very powerful, noiseless, and have a nice versatile "fender jazz-esque" tone to them. Controls are volume, balance, and bass and treble boost/cut knobs w/ a center detent (Word of advice, the balance knob is reversed from every other bass I've ever played; clockwise is bridge pickup, and counter-clockwise is neck pickup). The fingerboard is ebony, and the wood filler used to fill in the fret gaps is a little on the darker side - so it almost looks unlined from a distance under the correct lighting - now you can impress all your musician friends!

There is slight damage to the finish as seen in the last picture, but it doesn not effect playability and isn't noticeable under normal conditions.

This bass plays great and feels fantastic. A great pro-level fretless to have in the arsenal.
