1964 (neck stamp FEB 64) Fender Stratocaster. The body ONLY was refinished in the late 70s at Strings'n'Things in Memphis. The guitar has had 3 owners and the 2nd owner had it for the better part of 30 years (and had the body refinished). You can see some checking lines in the body finish, it's almost

There are a few other changes that have been made. The bridge pickup mounting holes became enlarged and so it has two small nuts under the bobbin to keep it tight. Two pickups are stamp-dated, but the middle pickup is not stamped (but is original). The tuners are replacements, but they are old. There was a different set on it before these that required other screwholes. I think the string tree may have been moved and then the put back and the hole was slightly patched. Hard to say for sure. There is some kind of hole next to the string tree. The neck finish and decal are original. The frets are original and in very good condition. The pickguard is a replacement. The knobs are from the 70s. 50 years old.

It weighs 8 lbs 4 oz.

It's a great player-grade guitar. I nice pre-CBS Strat that has the sound and playability you can only get from that era. The case is correct as well.

Trades are always considered!

International buyers are welcome, but I do not have any control over your country's customs procedures, that includes delivery times being longer. I've sold many guitars internationally, but sometimes the delivery is delayed due to customs. I ship my merchandise QUICKLY, but I have absolutely no control over any other country's inspections, duties, customs, etc..
