Instead of the usual NTE103A I used a 2N1308 Germanium transistor I found locally in Midland, Tx which are also getting increasingly difficult to come by online, this transistor was found in a little shop in Midland, TX-where I built it.
Internal trimpot for the bias replaces the 8k resistor. 1.2k resistor instead of 470r. 2k fuzz pot.
This is a hand made, Texas fuzz face. No PCB used, just a small piece of breadboard I cut. Classic Arbiter Fuzz Face circuit design, except this uses 1x 2N2222 and 1x 2N1308 GERMANIUM transistor. Transistors are mounted and you are able to swap them out if you feel the need.
