Created in collaboration with The Roots guitarist "Captain" Kirk Douglas, the Gibson Kirk Douglas Signature SG is a vintage-inspired tone machine.

Rare to the used market, this is a superb example - with the only user blemish being a barely visible tiny one on the horn as pictured. The finish is ageing beautifully with lacquer checking on the back of the headstock and neck giving is a Murphy lab style vibe. We've provided images of this, bouncing light onto the surface to make it more visible. No breaks or repairs and everything works as it should.

It has a Mahogany body, slim Taper Mahogany neck, Rosewood fingerboard, Chrome hardware and a bound neck and headstock with Custom diamond decal to give this guitar classy appeal. Add to that Grover tuners, an aluminum Nashville Tune-o-matic with a Kirk Douglas signature “Captain” Lyre tail vibrato.

The trio of Burstbucker pickups deliver the fat tone that SGs are known for, and then some. It has push-pull coil splitting, and an additional blender pot for the middle pickup, resulting in a workhorse that is ready to take on any genre.

It comes complete with its original case, signature monkey sticker, candy and paperwork as pictured.
