Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back & sides - lacquer finish
The sound has the qualities that only come with aged wood and lots of playing. It has beautifully resonant volume, tone and sustain - all with a remarkable ease of playing in all registers.
The tuning machines and pickguard are probably replacements. There are some minimal finish dings and scratches along with typical humidity and/or temperature crackling in some areas of the lacquer. Otherwise, it's in very good condition for this vintage.
