Considered by many as an upgrade to the standard Les Paul design, the Yamaha SG series are some of the fullest sounding guitars you'll ever play. This SG-510 was released for 1983. Weighs 3.8kg's and is built with an Agathis body, slim 60's mahogany neck and a rosewood fretboard (628mm scale length, 43mm nut width). With a very bright "Candy Tone Red" finish (as per the catalog), it appears all original except for a brand new bone nut.

Good used condition as pictured for an almost 40 year old guitar, has some bumps and dings as pictured. Given a full setup and service prior to listing including a fretboard oil, fret polish, truss adjustment and restring, frets have plenty of life.
