Fully functional and ready to play. The double braced hihat stand is quiet and stable. It has some rust spots on the lower tripod section but the rest is pretty clean. I lost the original clutch and so I replaced it with a new one. The bass foot pedal functions well, has good action and doesn't squeak. I purchased this pair second hand in 1994 so I figure they are mid to late 80's vintage.
